Well, today is a disappointing day ~ DD will not be having the e-version after all. DD has been seeing a fetal heart specialist because baby Hayden has some calcifications on her heart and also her umbilical cord is not attached in the right area (it's attached at the thinnest part of the placenta, at the very tip of it). The specialist has determined it would be too dangerous to try to turn her so unless Hayden decides to turn herself, DD will have to have a C-section. She is so disappointed (upset) and scared, too. Anyway, just wanted to update ~ thanks so much for all the kind, encouraging words and well wishes!

Lauralee, I am so sorry to here this. My only child and his wife just had their first child. My grandson tested positive for a rare genetic disorder at birth. After 2 more months of testing and waiting and crying, we found out he is ok. Hang in there. Life may be a bit of a wind storm for a while. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I wish the best outcome for you all.
ReplyDeleteLots of prayers for Hayden that everything goes well.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well!
ReplyDeleteHayden is in my prayers. My 10 month old grand daugther was a breech baby. Daugther had a c sec. with both her children. I am thinking and praying for your whole family.
ReplyDeleteMy third child was a c-section and my theory is anything to get a healthy child. I did go on to have 2 other vag. births, but in the end it really didn't matter how they got here, just as long as they were safe and I was safe. I know it's disappointing, but thank God for technology! Take care and best wishes - you'll love being a grandma!
ReplyDeleteHoping your new little one will be here soon, healthy and sound. While disappointing, doesn't matter in the long run how they get here!
