Name That Kitty Contest!

Still basking in grandmotherly bliss here ;o) Thank you for all the well wishes! Every day is better and better LOL!

Now on to a contest of sorts....

Remember this little monster?

Well, he needs a name.  We've been calling him "Dammit" as in "Dammit, get off my leg!" or "Dammit, quit biting me!".  However, neither the vet nor my mother thought that was amusing in the least.  I've been so blissed out with little Hayden that my brain is just mush.  I can't think of any names at all.  So, here's the contest.  I want y'all to submit names, as many names as you wish, but only 1 name per comment and ONLY on this post!  The person who submits the winning name will win a little something or other from my stash.  It might be a pattern, or a piece of linen, or some over-dyed floss, or a combination of items, but definitely all good stuff!  I'm working in my craft room today and I'll put together the prize and take a picture of it and post it later on.  If the winning name has been submitted multiple times by different people, I will put those submissions in a bowl and draw a name from that.  Sound like a plan?  Very important, due to the obscenely high cost of postage outside of the United States, I regretfully need to limit the contest to US residents only.  Also, you must be a follower of this blog (see sidebar to follow).  Please, please make sure I have a way to contact you (email address).  You can mention this on your blog, too!  The more, the merrier!

The contest will end next Sunday, August 15, at noon.  The winner will be announced Monday (August 16) morning.

Contest Overview:
  • Open to US residents only.
  • You must be a follower of my blog.
  • May submit multiple names, but only one name per comment.
  • Comment only to this post.
  • Contest ends August 15 at noon EST.  Winner will be announced the morning of August 16.

Here's some particulars to help you with coming up with names:  He's a boy.  He's about 3 months old.  He is white and yellow with what appear to be pale green eyes.  He will be neutered ASAP.  He has sharp teeth and even sharper claws (you really should see my legs ~ it looks like I've been shaving with the world's oldest razor).  He has absolutely no fear.  He's only sweet when he's sleeping!

  4. When I was a young child we had a cat that was wild and crazy just like that! However, when he was ready to nap, he would curl up beside you with his purr motor running strong. We called him Rocky.

  5. Well, I was going to say 'Honey' until I read your post. How about 'Fearless' since he shows no fear (OK, not very inventive), or 'Rogue'. 'Man of Steel', or 'Razor' for his sharp claws?

Sorry, I guess I am not very good at names, either. I was so hoping to win Mr. Mark Harmon for the afternoon. *sigh* What, he isn't part of your stash? Such a shame!
